 This whole discussion is revealing the inherent risk of a truly uncensorable protocol.

Moderation is different from censorship, but they both operate in similar ways.  Turns out, people need some sort of moderation to exist in an online space.

If the space isn't moderated centrally, then blocking and muting tools need to be effective and easy to use.

Moderation will be a key focus of the next wave of Nostr development. 
 The ability to self moderate is something I like about Nostr. It takes a bit more work particularly at the outset but I find it rewarding. Having more advanced tools to self moderate will be helpful particularly as the protocol grows.
