 This is the first time I'm aware of 404 Media and/or /futurism. The linked gizmodo article relys on the same 404 Media reference doc as /futurism. But the linked CMG blog post does still seem to be on the wayback machine, and the linked WaPo article is as limp-wristed a debunking attempt as I've ever read.

Kinda seems like the real deal being highlighted here - your phone really is listening to you.
