Are you kidding me! I used to do that with the boys in the neighborhood. I wanted a toy rifle when I was 7 so we could all have a gun.

My girls always wanted matchbox cars and Lincoln Logs. Does that mean they need to be transitioned right then? They went on to be girly-girls with wearing dresses and makeup. No desire to be a guy.

People are as varied as there are grains of sand. Let kids be child-like and experience life without boxing then into one label or another.
