 Personally, I'm never loyal to any company. I have a mercenary mindset when it comes to work. As long as it benefits me to work at a place, I do.

 @2a70c54d Agree!  I was told, early in my working life, "This is a basic exchange.  Our skill and time for their money.  If either party is unhappy with the terms, it's time to move on."

 @2a70c54d I'm curious how that might change throughout your career. There was a time I'd take any client from any industry. Last few years, I'm partial to a few specific ones and there's several I just won't touch again. PPP loans kinda spoiled my appreciation of certain ethics in certain industries. If I don't feel good about the owner, I don't care what salary they're offering. I actually like to sleep at night.
