 IMPORTANT!

Dear #bitcoin family,

I recently learned @bluewalletio is better than any other hardware wallet in the market. Thanks to Peter for the explanation.

Do you agree?

Here is the video link

Not better, in fact it's worse.

A hw wallet like cold card can operate air-gapped.

You can use Bluewallet to watch all your wallets on your Coldcard. Using BIP85 on the Coldcard makes the need to backup all your wallets' keys redundant.

I highly recommend a Coldcard instead of a mobile phone. Don't forget that the battery on a mobile phone has a limited lifespan.
Did u hear the whole video?
 I watched 3/4th of it.
I like blue wallet, I still have it running on desktop, but i've switched to green on mobile since it covers all 3 networks so I can do all I need to in one place
the idea of a hwwa is, that your keys NEVER EVER get in touch with the internet. So you EXCLUDE the possibility, that someone could access them from remote.
 Same with blue wallet
Bravo with all that editing. 😘👌
His take about the security being only "can they break into my phone" is mostly true but he didn't really explain how you go about signing using those wallets together.

The devil is in the details.
 Agreed.

Will have to look into how this works with blue wallet.

Also didn't mention how to go from custodial to non custodial which has a number of hoops to jump through
interesting.. would love to hear why 2 of 2 instead of for example 2 of 3 though.
Did you ask him about some Linux OS running on mobile phones like calyx or graphine?
Check out video by @BTCsessions on how to use old phone with Bluewallet as cold wallet linked to watch-only hot wallet in Blue on your everyday phone that is connected to the internet. https://youtu.be/f-8elm8xCLs?feature=shared
Definitely do not agree, this doesn’t make any sense, how can a software wallet installed on a phone that has access to the internet (to sign you will need it to be online) be better than an air-gapped signing device, it can’t be. With the setup in the video not only you have more attack surface, but you also have a much larger possibility of screwing up when someone actually needs to move the funds.
 A suggestion open to discussion.
If you see the whole video your phone is off.
Yes I noticed that, but eventually you will have to bring it online to sign the transaction, which is not a great option since you can sign on an air-gapped device and avoid it ever going online.
