One’s nostr experience is largely defined by the client you use. This has pros and cons. For example, @primal makes strong use of hashtags, while @damus provides a global/universe feed that can be highly tuned. 

Beyond that, it’s about the relays you connect to. For example, wss://welcome.nostr.wine relays only new user notes/posts. 

It’s a lot to take in, and it’s all still very much a work in progress, but the benefits of no algos and no corporate overseers makes it very worthwhile to those of us here.
