 It's not hard, frend. Get #GrapheneOS Pixel phone and ditch all big tech and closed source apps. For every closed-source app, there is an open-source alternative, just as good if not better, i can guarantee you.

 What can you recommend for Google photos? I know I can just store my pics in any other app, but the ability to search it is not something I've found else where.

 I am a linux user bc I can def see this happen. But I checked the web and the only fee sites making that claim used as source a 5 min interview of the CEO of Microsoft eho says nothing remotely close to that headline. Sounds like a false claim to me.
