Today’s nukening is a reminder that performance > long term note retention for most relays. This is how it should be. Do not expect long term storage from your public relay operators. 

If your note history is important to you - backup your notes regularly! If you want others to be able to view your vintage notes long in to the future, use a special purpose relay like https://cellar.nostr.wine or run your own!

 Honestly it’s not needed. My past self is very dumb. 

I delete all my Facebook memories out of cringe. 😬 

 Hahah I’m with you. Retaining my own social media posts is not important to me personally but others care deeply. 

 Why not just delete Facebook? Do it. 

 Fucking network effect. All my family are on it, and they are all on a different continent. 

 I never have into the dark side on this one. Regrets, none.

 If Facebook knew what I did with memories. They would stop that feature. 

I literally delete each memory the show me. 🤣🤣
