it is looking like automatic image classification isn't one of those things that you can just install a Ubuntu package for, and more like the sort of thing cloud/AI companies are making a lot of money on right now, because it's Big Data and that's Big Business. i just wanted to click a button and have my photo collection tagged. 

 @c721880c there are a number of models that run locally, but 32GB ram seems needed to get decent results. Large NNs are resource hungry! My 6x2 core 16G i7 just does the simple stuff.
