@a6ff0b2b Curious if you do a fresh boot with the mouse unplugged, run kextstat, then plug the mouse in, run kextstat again and see if any additional drivers are loaded. The driver could be the culprit. 

 @b94d8ed4 It happens on a totally clean install of macOS with zero third-party software installed, so if any driver is loading, it's Apple’s.
