Just like wearing white shoes carpet living room is bad idea unless idk you are Japanese and everyone knows to take off their shoes. 

 Parents got wood floors a few years ago and it's a lot nicer, just don't get a spic to do it like they did 

 There is a small 2x2in square of my carpet that my dog just licks and rubs his head on incessantly. I am terrified of the secrets that lie in the fibers of that patch of carpet. 

 Wish I had wood doors on my gas chamber instead of glass. Fucking Prussian blue stains all over.
