 Hey @Vitor Pamplona, I have been having this problem for a long time and I'm not sure how to explain it except by making this video.

Running graphene OS. 

The spaces disappear when I try to back up to make corrections.

 Ita the keyboard. Check out FlorisBoard. Fixed it for me.

 You can use your system's spell check with floris board. It won't pop up on the board itself, but you can get the words highlighted and spell check them. although it will not work on every app

 Change your keyboard. It's a bug between Google's new UI (Jetpack Compose) and the autocomplete of the keyboard that ships with Graphene OS.
