Has anyone tried out this new Unplugged phone?

Only heard about it on podcasts, but it posits itself as a privacy phone

Have NOT heard about this! I hope this takes off big time. I’ve been wondering why it’s taking so long for a 3rd party, privacy protecting, open source smart phone. Seems like a no brainer.
Started by Erik Prince, of backwater fame :)
i like the sound of it but never tried sorry
Just get Pixel and flash GrapheneOS
A privacy focused company should have more options to pay without KYC. Google pay and shop pay are the only options.

I always look at these as a honeypot until proven otherwise anyway.

I'm interested in not being tracked. But then I figure they will know where "this phone" is at all times, but cell tower triangulation at least. Then if "this phone" spends most of its time at my house, its like 90% useless, cuz now the history of travels of "this phone" is now associated with me.

If this is a wrong assumption, I'm probably in the market.
