I have to flesh everything out, but I'm looking to develop a sci-fi universe that's basically 40k but not as gay and not owned by anglos who hate White people. For this collection, I'm looking for stories that feature battle scenes prominently, and I'm looking for about 10 stories. As for rewards, everyone who makes it into the collection, or is good enough to make it into the next one gets $100. There's also a lot of guys who are really stoked on the project but don't want to write themselves, and so I'll be posting "bounties," where if you write a story based on one of the bounty concepts that makes it over the line, you get whatever the bounty holder offered as well as the hundo prize money.

 How grounded is the setting? Is it hard sci-fi, or are things like psychics, magic, interdimensional beings, god-like beings, etc. allowed as well? (I've only read the first story, then skimmed around the the pdf you linked, but I didn't see anything like that). 

 I'd like to keep things fairly grounded with a hint of the paracausal or supernatural, especially as the project is finding it feet
