Question for Mastodon: I have a bunch of CP/M 5.25 floppy disks that I want to "liberate" a bunch of Z80 code I did as a kid (the world needs to see my Space Invaders clone). Any ideas of a simple/easy to get read them? My CP/M machine is long gone. Tracking down old CP/M machines is outside the scope of easy.
@de22920b the harder part may be getting that out of the disks; after that, is just matter of choosing an emulator
@de22920b the most accurate way might be to dump them with Kryoflux and convert them to a „readable“ image…
@de22920b I don't think they're on Mastodon, but gamehistory.org would almost certainly be interested in preserving that and putting it onto modern media.
@de22920b I feel like this would be right up @1b2be89d 's alley?
@de22920b I gave away a cpm machine just recently. What a shame. Osborne portable. However, surely a floppy drive is what you really need? Is there no cpm emulators about? Now I must research!
