 What are your thoughts on using cinder blocks to create rows and planting seeds in the cinder block holes?

 Should be fine, it will box the roots in a bit but they will quickly find the bottom of the brick.

 Good deal. I figured that could be an issue but would find its way to ground soil as they are more mature. Trying to clean things up in my parents garden to make things easier for my mom to access.
