 @Rick is getting laid (off) one asbestos bandaid would be to abolish online dating for being evil and funding speed in person dating to get single people together, (we had something like this in the 80s) so there's less lonely people.

All solutions either require government subsidies or radical social changes that could fail horribly, overall I think women's rights and the over reliance on the internet caused it in the first place but ripping it away out of the blue might have adverse effects
