 I'm not a fan of passphrases because they result in a brittle 2-of-2 setup. If you lose either the seed phrase or the password, you lose access to your funds.

 this always made the most sense to me because I see the passphrase as a physical 2-factor. People might feel the need to store two seeds physically nearby which would be a mistake.

 IMO the passphrase probably doesn't even need to be that complicated either and could be something that's super easy to memorize. So you'd have to forget it and lose access to your password manager.

 Just following up here. Still curious to know what’s your recommended setup for a traveling individual. 

Was thinking Coldcard kept safe and the tapsigner with nunchuck to travel. What’s your recommendation re: passphrase or no passphrase? How would you setup a Coldcard?
