Brave just has Ublock origin built into the browser, I’m using it with Firefox and it still failed. I also get these popups with Brave as well.

 Youtube tends to slow roll out these kind of changes, some regions wont get it and others do. 

 i have been expecting it, podcast ads are annoying as fuck too, plus spotify exclusive stuff like joe rogan, i think we will need p2p pirate sources for these

 Rarely I have issues with both brave and newpipe but it's almost always with an outdated version that's no longer effective because of updates to youtube.

I also frequently use yt-dlp but that also needs to be up to date.

Youtube is the only mainstream social media I've ever cared about. Some of the channels I watch have started posting to odysee too but many still only exist on youtube. Hopefully one day the fediverse is where everyone worth following ends up, it's cozy here because of admins like graf. 

 nostr will replace jewtube, elon is going to start sweating on them heavily too

many youtubers have moved to rumble because of censorship 

 Rumble censors stuff just as much as Youtube. 

 yep they are run by a jew but the diversification weakens youtube

eventually we have a p2p vid platform and just take everything from them all, it wins because  like streaming services are too numerous and cost
