So this platform, as it is decentralized, it's supposed to be keeping everything submitted, in chronological order, as it has been posted/made a note on the chosen relays. Most of the people who would choose this platform, would choose it for this benefit. Now, I don't have a lot of knowledge in how this works, but one of my questions is very simple: what would be the prospect for all this to be gone? could someone, someday just end Nostr, and all its affiliated clients? 

 As long as one relay keeps running, you can publish to it, and read from it anything that has been published to that relay. 

 You can also backup all your own data if you would like. 

 Clients and relays can go away, but you can also run them yourself if you know what you're doing. For example, you can run Iris, Snort,  or nostrudel on Umbrel or Start9.
