 @03c45187 I just think the 'spider universe' and 'spider agents' in a secret 'spider institution' is a very dull take on the multiverse idea. Just didn't find that as a compelling story hook. The original Spider-verse while it had alternative reality spider-people, it at least felt a bit more interesting in general.

I did love the visuals and animation.

Maybe my expectations were just misaligned.
