I had the same thoughts. I just switched over to Mutiny because I liked their general philosophy and direction. I'm left wondering what the point was. It's cool that they want to explore other products, but I won't bother with any of them (assuming they're relevant for me) out of fear that I'm just going to be rugged again. It's so bizarre and unexpected. I also don't understand why the entire project had to die because one person is burned out. I'm glad I didn't convert anyone over yet. Shit like this makes onboarding people really painful and risky for me. The team should have been more transparent and made it clear that the project was a toy. I understand that people sometimes need to leave a project, but stuff like this impacts those who provide support financially and by helping others with adoption. nostr:note19xsf4z3gp4sdqmegndytqe8f0vasnwx2ze64avhmr97u4yjnzeequ0xdx2
Have to agree--there's been quite a bit invested in Mutiny to have it die such a quick death... I suspect there's more to the story than meets the eye...
Bitcoin is awesome! Enjoy some unconfiscatible freedom money! You only have to change apps every 8 months!
To clarify, I don't have anything against the team wanting to do something else and they clearly put in a lot of work. I just don't understand why the entire concept has to die. I'd like to understand why, if not, bringing in a new team wasn't considered as an option. I also hate to see people fall out of love with Bitcoin and would like to know more about how we can change that for developers. I don't know much about the team, but I would like to start changing the culture (starting with myself) if that's the issue. Do you need more support? More developers? nostr:note126etln5yqpxn624hp3wn0tg8uezt60v7hupvqus63a0p3rmxzuyqv7y7my
