To be perfectly fair - lightning is only meant to be used as like real world wallet, i.e. for holding a small amount of btc to buy cheap goods quickly. Don't hold a lot of sats on a lightning wallet, custodial or not. 

 I just wanted to point out why people use convenient services despite it takes away their freedom.
