Update on date and other stuff: Date was super pleasant. A wandering discussion on a balcony with watermelon. I enjoyed it. She seemed to also enjoy it. Driving home sucked. 5 thunderstorms and a huge reroute to avoid flooded roads meant I got in after midnight. #worthit Woke up for work mostly on time. Punched in three minutes late. Got pulled over to the other shop since they were having issues getting a job going. I had to rebuild a MIG machine. It was so clogged up and parts were so worn it was a miracle that anything could be made with it. I worked up a new set of parameters for welding the job. Got volunteered to stay until the night shift comes in to run the job and get them up to speed. My dad is still off, but, overall is better. My mom is not very patiently waiting for next week to see about changing a few of her prescriptions that may have less adverse side effects. She's miserable. I've made the decision to move to be closer to help them out. I'm going to force through a few things that need to be finalized and am targeting the end of October as a move date. I will be leaving my trailer where it is over winter. Moving it in the spring is a much better idea than trying to rush too many things at once. There's no harm in leaving it as is until then. #randomthoughts #abeaverabroad #update #datechain #itwasadate
Congratulations
Congrats on date plus moving.
Thank you very much! Moving will be awful but I think it will be worth it.
Moving is never fun, but the end result should be good, so hopefully it will be good.
When our house burnt down and we rebuilt, we designed the house for every stage of life, so we will never have to move because of the house.
Congratulations (again); good work; and very good of you
>Date was super pleasant. >My dad is still off, but, overall is better. All fantastic news! >Got volunteered to stay until the night shift comes "volunteered" always a fun way of saying it :) >I've made the decision to move to be closer to help them out I think you still have time, but I'm with you on that, I don't like to feel rushed, spring is a nice time to move imo. I know caring for parents can be a huge load on most people so I wish you the best I can of course!
Thank you. Before I do move, you and I still need to get out to a range!
