 Lol that would probably be worse for most people. Unless you're tying it to a basket of things that contains Bitcoin. I think anything more than 5% would probably kill a lot of people due to volatility. However, this could work decades from now, but I hope at that point we don't really need the concept of a dollar since we aren't using gold anymore.
