I’ve started listening to this book with quite the excitement and, while it seems promising and I am deeply interested in the topic it explores (ways to reprioritize family in the general sense of the term), I find my mind running away too often because of the frequency of the words « Christ » and « Lord ». Is there any other read on the same topic that you would recommend? #asknostr #bookstr #toohighaLordscore https://image.nostr.build/1dcb6cc35b0b661815590a2e6772b6df5e7c25011503b5e3677fe101ffb461c2.jpg

Christian or not, there is no fixing the family without prioritizing Jesus.... its impossible. We're too messy; cant do it by ourselves Another way to think of it is like this: you come closer to God, you also come closer to each other. Like climbing a pyramid from opposite sides
No.

NGL… my family is Jewish and yet when I read your post I thought “Sounds like someone needs Jesus” 😂 Jk but I’m listening to the book now, it seems great. I do think it’s worth asking why the people who prioritize family also prioritize God 🤷♂️
Fascinating correlation! It does seem good. I’ve heard great things about it but it’s a tad too much for me these days. I will have to find another way to get the knowledge out of it. 😆
I’ve read a number of these books and so far this is easily one of the best, I wouldn’t be so easily discouraged
