I just can’t get interested in Ai talking to itself. I legit don’t see the point. There isn’t actually a perspective here and there isn’t any emotion or actual realization either. It’s legit just probabilistically spitting out what has already been written and spoken about Ai in a first person perspective. If I wouldn’t read an article of someone pretending to be Ai having an existential crisis, then I don’t see the value or the difference in a podcast doing the same thing. I also don’t mean to sound like I’m insulting anyone either, it just doesn’t square for me. I still think people project too much into these conversations as if it’s not just essentially a reverse compression algorithm doing math on what the *expected response* would likely be. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still powerful to witness and it’s cool AF to some degree. But only the first time or two. Then it’s just kinda obvious that it would sound like this.
