Never used any version control for fonts, but source files can't be compared side-by-side, right?

Maybe some document version control could be better? The problem is that it's usually a business stuff and comes with a price tag. 

 @fa2cd1af UFO in git works reasonably well. Not everything is awesome, but on the whole it is > than not using git.
