Historical Atrocities (Holocaust, the Cambodian genocide, and many other tragedies were driven by blind obedience to authority.), Milgram Experiment (Psychologically, experiments like Stanley Milgram’s in the 1960s showed how ordinary people could be compelled to administer harm to others when directed by an authority figure, even against their own conscience), Military and War (Throughout history, many soldiers and citizens have been persuaded or ordered to participate in violent actions, sometimes against innocent people, under the assumption that they are “just following orders.), Public Health and Misinformation (In some cases, blind trust in authority figures or institutions without critical examination has also led to public health crises or the suppression of necessary interventions, often with fatal consequences… Covid).
Covid adverse effects not unknown and deaths minuscule to actual diseases. Holocaust maybe partial obedience.

I’m not sure people know what the actual numbers of disease-based deaths are …it’s in the high double digits annually. Blind obedience not even close
