Oh there's a whole bunch of movies I'm glad they never made a sequel to because they were perfect gems they way they were.
Movies like:
Highlander
The Matrix
The Blues Brothers

Highlander 2. I've heard for years that they made one, but it simply does not exist. Nope. Hollywood rumor mill nonsense.

Drop Dead Freda. It would be a straight remake of the original, but with the genders reversed. With a paper-thin premise that allowed it to also be a sequel, with a cameo from Phoebe Cates and a digital necromancy version of Rik Mayall, like the Peter O'Toole from Rogue One. 

 @3fe52772 I have a feeling the answer is going to become Barbie 2, given how much money it's made. And it doesn't need one at ALL.
