@cassidyclown @eidolon the one im making is all metal so it doesnt stretch at all, so i gotta make it a bit baggy. not very fashionable ​:blobcat:​ but probably will look good over a gambeson with a ring belt

but if you use a few tricks you can get a more flattering fit, i think by using some kind of fastening like straps or clasps, or alternating a few rubber rings to make it stretchy. you could definitely make some cool garments with it that are wearable day to day. you would also need light materials, i think for movies they use some kind of plastic. heres some pix of the nicer chainmail garments ive found
