What is 1809?
I think that was his whole handle JStark == JStark1809 There's no wikipedia for either JStark, JStark1809 or his fiat name.
In 1809, a group of Bennington veterans gathered to commemorate the battle. General Stark, then aged 81, was not well enough to travel, but he sent a letter to his comrades which closed "Live free or die: Death is not the worst of evils." https://thehistoryjunkie.com/general-john-stark-facts-and-accomplishments/
Probably this. It was a letter written by a revolutionary war hero John Stark. https://image.nostr.build/7e1f2c709c2672f6fbf2052ba63b0f47ab514870ccea54f0507ed65e4a564e6a.jpg
Wild. God forbid someone actually look for the story.
How well do relays handle actually long articles? I had tried to copy-paste content from Wikipedia and those more often than not failed to save and I guess it was a size limit thing. For me, a size limit can also have its good side especially in the context of a decentralized wiki but it should be explicit and not just throw away what I wrote. Imagine a reasonable limit driving articles into composable sub-articles that can be included in the main article much like kind-1 notes get embedded in each other.
The guy was not a saint 👀 https://wikifreedia.xyz/jstark1809/b12b632c887f0c871d
I read it all, didn't see any issues, what part makes him not a Saint to you? (Not saying he is, just curious)
Np. I'm not a fan of the part about "misogyny, racism, and anti-Semitic rhetoric" (that's my opinion, don't force anyone to have the same)
Oh, got it.
Accusations without any sort of proof. I can call you racist, doesnt make it true. And these days, pretty much every white man on earth is labelled a racist, misoginist and an anti-semite. Those words have zero meaning anymore
What are some examples of this rhetoric?
