Wireguard. Much faster than openvpn in my experience. 

 plugging wireproxy. great way to split tunnel if your application can do socks5 

 WireGuard is faster.  OpenVPN is better for Tor, as you do not get the speed benefit of WireGuard->Tor.  WireGuard has the IP stored in memory for 2-5 min depending on the provider, but this isn't that big a deal to most people, as they can see your IP anyway.
