I was born and partially raised in Australia, and I live in Texas. I have encountered Whites in America as well as non-White "Australians" both here and in Australia and I can tell you that I most strongly connnected (even in the days in which I was not "racist") with White Americans and White Australians as opposed to non-Whites of both varieties, as there is only so much that culture does. Those of similar ancestry have similarly functioning brains and thus tend to form similar ideas fed the same stimuli, hence identifying stronger with those of the same racial group as those who are not regardless of culture and upbringing.
