I also like Zeus for their open source ethos and had a channel open with them for month. However when I used the channel for payments and was happy to have generated some inbound liquidity (ca. 80%) they just force closed it 🤷♂️
If you want guarantees in your channel lifetime, you need to purchase the channel through the LSP: https://lsps1.olympusln.com/ Otherwise you can still use ZEUS to open channels with other peers

So just that I get that right, I can open a channel from my node (not the Zeus embedded) to your node 031b301307574bbe9b9ac7b79cbe1700e31e544513eae0b5d7497483083f99e581 and such a channel might get force_closed at some point in time? Depending on what? We reserve the right to close channels opened to us at our discretion. Channels that push a lot of capacity to our side of the channel are more likely to be closed.
btw I can't open the page to buying inbound liquidity from Zeus, is it actually running?

If attempts to retry fail, attempt to manually connect to Olympus as a peer first. If it’s still failing you can access the web interface at https://lsps1.olympusln.com/
if you run a node yourself and open some channels to relatively big nodes but not possible with the biggest ones, there's a chance the channel may not work properly because of idk which reason, for me is was a disaster, always offline, not usable. then i opened a private channel to Zeus' LSP Olympia LN, it worked well and always online, then i opened another, same, I'm glad. i haven't any inbound liquidity yet, just 2 channels outbound.
