There are a few subjects that I truly believe are invaluable, and it's tragic how often they're painted as being opposed to one another: math, language composition/communication, and history. No matter where you go and what you do, all three will prove useful to be literate in.
Without history, the majority of this world is out of context.
I'm passionate about it not only because of its importance but also because I believe it's our fundamental duty as human beings to comprehend our own history & origin.
Precisely. Without history and curiosity, the world is left without context. Without math and logic, it's left without solutions. And, in absence of proper linguistic skills and effective communication, one could have all the knowledge in the world and never be able to use it.
I couldn't agree more. Sometimes, I also include political science/civics because they play a fundamental role in modern societies.
👆 Fax. But understanding that starts with your foundation in the other three, and so we come full circle 😄
