If you are wanting the most basic, then look at Wallet of Satoshi.
Blink. Wallet of satoshi ! In that order ! Trying out phoenix 🐦🔥 for self- custody . Blixt is too complicated for normies . Yet to try Zeus maybe that’s cooler

I only played around with a cashu wallet ages ago, and had to fiddle about with mints and whatnot. Which I don't think would be suitable for a newbie Maybe there are easier options now(?) and it's plug n play. Which would work for this scenario 🤔

No I get it, and once a newbie has settled in a bit they can play about with the rough around the edges options and trickier stuff. It's just the initial, getting them set up first hurdle I was trying to figure out. It's also somewhat annoying for the person trying to help them lol. So also somewhat selfish. But yeah, I think throw them a primal link initially might work best
How about npub.cash and then transfer out? Enjoying Zeus for that

#Strike now because it’s simple and can be defaulted to in #Damus. Yes there’s KYC but works for small amounts around nostr. #Primal with its wallet integration is also simple.
Oh yeah, I think that it's also available in UK and Europe maybe 🤔
