The coalition argues that clear rules would protect consumers, promote the US dollar, and secure America's technological edge. They emphasize the importance of regulating US-dollar backed stablecoins, which make up over 97.5% of the stablecoin market. CMIC members include Robinhood, BitGo, OKX, Gemini, Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM, Kaiko, and Matrixport. The coalition suggests that the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act and the Digital Commodities Act could provide a regulatory framework for US firms.
