I don’t like this suggestion — leads to groupthink. You just follow people because someone else was already following them, and then someone else does the same. 

If there’s someone important enough for your follows, they will repost him eventually, and you’ll pick up on their posts organically. 

Would almost be better if the client gave you 100 follows at random in your language of choice with varying follower counts, all of whom were reasonably active.

 That’s sort of what @damus does. Every time I open the app it’s like it’s my first time there where it shows me this and asks if I want to write my first note.
