Part of AI is remembering perfectly everything that has ever happened.

This theme was explored in “Westworld” the TV series.

In this fictional exploration, they had to suppress these memories as they would be indistinguishable from current reality.

Now imagine if you had perfect recall, everything that had ever happened in your life could be recalled in complete, perfect detail. Could you distinguish history from reality?

Now imagine having an imagination that worked as well as your recall, such that you could imagine any alternative reality, fantasy or future such that it was indistinguishable from reality. 

Is this the simulation some think we exist in and if so, did you create it, or are you a part of someone else’s thoughts?
 

 I'm thinking each llm will have different "memory" even private self hosted AI shouldn't be considered as absolute truth. 

Wouldn't be surprised to find out we're living in a simulation, at this point all we can do is play the game to the best of our ability.
