“put on the spotlight” are your words, I’m letting you know nobody did that, she volunteered. in your own words she put herself on the spotlight (my guess? seeks attention)
She might have the right to express her opinion (our first constitutional right) I never said she didn’t. I also don’t “think” her opinion is baseless or valueless I know it is, it’s a fact, her whole opinion is based on hearsay propaganda from the media, a blind man can tell you that much. All you need is to listen. It is certainly a privilege to express oneself, this is all I will agree on. Not kudos to her for being brave or anything else, no need to give her a participation trophy for making herself look like a fool & her fellow students.
I hear you. ☺️
"no need to give her a participation trophy for making herself look like a fool and her fellow students"
If in life we stop ourselves from experiencing anything because of looking like a fool or how others may look because of your behaviour, you will never learn. One can only learn by making mistakes or by failing or by making a fool of yourself! You sound very logically and I am pretty sure you had some laps of judgements or foolish decisions in the past. Otherwise, you won't be this wise rn. Mistakes are there to serve as a lessons. We all do it. It's a good chat though. All the best! 🤓🫂
