come to stl city life without city prices
Saint Louis is a ghost town
I mean it’s in the top 25 biggest metros in the US, if that’s the definition of ghost town then the vast majority of people live in ghost towns.
He’s not really wrong either though, st. louis was forgotten and ignored, and is considered a rust belt city. Diminishing its value to America and American history is sad. As a Catholic, I would think Suhail would’ve been kinder to a city that is one of the few remaining cities in America to have such a large catholic population
I don’t hate it just that went I went there it was empty. It’s beautiful tho I love the gothic architecture there. Went to mass at the Bascilica and that was really awesome
When’s the last time you went? Also went to mass a few weeks ago there, was an absolutely lovely experience. Hoping to go to more. They do mass daily there 12pm.
New years 2023
interesting, new years was really crowded for us, i really don’t think stl is that dead anymore, next time you decide to visit, check out south grand, the grove, midtown, and i’ll even take you and your gf to a soccer game i have a season pass now.
That sounds cool I’ll def check em out if I visit and maybe I’ll happen to have a gf by then lol
Love it, but also love my sometimes broken public transit system here. If I leave, I'd move to a small city where I could hopefully bike year round, id also need to get a car for longer journeys. Sadly I thought a place like Asheville would be perfect for me and my love for the outdoors and hiking, I don't think I'd move there now after everything that's occured in the past week
biking is awesome here, and we have a great metro system!
I'll have to catch an amtrack to stl sometime to check it out
