Oddbean new post about login | logout @43d7c4ea here in New Hampshire they’ve made it more difficult to change parties. I vote absentee, we can register at the polls if we vote in person, now if I want to change my party I have to go and appear personally at the Townhall to do so. It used to just be a form. I’ve done it a bunch of times switching between indy and dem. But since 2020 it has to be in person in front of them.
