CLASSIC
We clipped all of their wings and moved the roosters out of the chicken enclosure so now one is pacing to try to get in and I don’t know where the other is https://cdn.nicecrew.digital/214f3817f72a9406267019a4314dc2a9487c491bd76d8c24e6eff1757d6d3f3f.jpg
feel sorry for the poor bastards but we don’t want fertilized eggs and it’s better than killing them
What’s wrong with fertilized eggs?
the fact they’re fertilized doesn’t matter it’s more the fact that I don’t want to eat them if they’re fertilized
Why though? They don’t taste any different. And having a rooster around is good for the hens.
fair not entirely sure, that's what my dad decided though
>Doc, who never shuts up when he's separated from his girlfriend, separated his roosters from their Several girlfriends Fucken monster🤨
I felt real bad for them and I'd rather leave them in there but it's family property so I'm doing what my dad says
He's like the dad in Footloose!
gonna be honest I've never seen it
It's not minecraft or fortnite so it's not quite age appropriate for you
kill yourself
(jk brother)
Flip flopping on the issues
:02smug:
Ahh perhaps it’s because he’s vegetarian. Some people consider a fertilized egg like eating a baby chick.
more than likely
Extra protein
it's the same amount of protein
Possibly
My four geese (two males, two females) have decided that this time of year is the best time of year to build nests and lay 9+ eggs. Apparently they're confused because this isn't the Southern Hemisphere.
You got incubators?
I do but since it's out of season I'm going to let them take a shot at hatching their own offspring.
Well I know geese don’t speak English but tell them good luck from me
apparently the other one got into the enclosure near the pond but this is the one my mum has dubbed “prince henry” https://cdn.nicecrew.digital/a7122b19b5ca8fea460e2337fe2516a80b2abdb29b1797bcf88093903e9fc799.jpeg
I've probably asked already. Is that a Leghorn?
Yes
he's a good boy but very scared much like the rest of our leghorns
>literally have like six acres to fuck around in >chooses to shit all over my sidewalk Checks out.

she would come sprinting towards you to peck your feet as hard as she could and we thought she was an asshole until we realised that as soon as you moved she'd squat down to get picked up -- she was just trying to get your attention she was the smallest of our chickens, had that bent-over crown, and was the most relaxed chicken ever. she'd sit with you for hours if you wanted and you could pick her up, turn her upside down, do whatever and she wouldn't even cluck at you
😆 i love chickens. theyre grand.
I need to name more of the chickens -- we've got 27(?) and only 2 have names whereas we have 4 goats and I despise every single one of them yet they all have names
Name one of them Cornwallace 😃
Niiiiiice...I like ChickiePooPoo... 😅
