Kamala Harris was one of the weakest, if not the weakest, candidates that ran in 2020. She built her rep on adversarial arguments in front of camera. 

Even on that front, she is failing. Why did the DNC think things would be different this time? The more time she has, the worse she does.

I think they thought her having a shorter campaign and going vague and not answering…well, really anything…would be enough. Her closing arguments are now boasting about how many bush era republicans support her, and only talking about Trump. Brilliant…

 The Dems unwillingness to point to the obvious cause of inflation (Trump printing and signing millions of covid checks) and instead focusing on 'price gouging' and 'covid-era supply delays' rang hollow to everyone, leaving Trump open to blame whatever.

MAGA bought this cause how could Trump be socialist? Dems stayed silent bc they are envious of his political capital and woulda wanted to do the same anyway. 

So now the Dem candidate can't shake the 'socialist' label cast onto her by the most successful socialist president in our lifetime. Cause both sides agreed to memory hole it.
