Because I want to move from the software wallet of Wasabi to Sparrow wallet. Maybe I'm just a tech idiot, but the hardware and software world gets fuzzy for me when private keys are involved. I was just going to send Wasabi UTXOs to Sparrow, wallet to wallet.
If the private key is in the MK3 or any hardware device you don’t need to send from wasabi to sparrow cause the UTXOs are not held by wasabi or any other software wallet. In your case sparrow and wasabi are just interfaces so you can see and manage your UTXOs. In any case, you can have the same private key you have in your mk3 in the Q and save yourself all these hassle.
