I'm exploring the creation and bond settlement of orders in Robosats using nostr wraped gifts originated in clearnet. 

Is ~30s of wait time a nice trade off if you could just create orders in Robosats avoiding to connect to Tor?

There is a big trade-off that concerns me, your relays will know there is an IP sending messages to Robosats. am I missing something?

 your concerns are definitevely valid. The sender of giftwrapped messages is hidden, but the ip correlation would be trivial if a malicious relay is used.
