Because we need to pay for the other people's retirement even those who didn't work, and for the people who reach 100 years. Lol. Even for the insurance of people destroying their selfs with sugar, alcohol or risk sports.

I believe they call it wellfare state. 

p.s. Every minister gets a life pension even if they only stood in the position for 1 day. We need to pay for that too 

 they can just print that money or perhaps spend less on foreign affairs and armed conflicts and spend the money where it should be spend. 

 I’d be happy if my government spent less on killing people in the Middle East.

I’ve already ruled out getting any kind of pension.
