What sort of commentary? I'm a currently employed techie person, but my main involvement with dead bird site is to read the posts here on mastodon.social and go 'tsk, glad I'm not there'.

 @a1aa26bb hey!
Been working in tech 13 years, here in the valley
1. Prioritizing profit over the user on social media plats is a mistake, see all other dead platforms
2. Elon exemplifies ego-driven clap back culture
3. All these behaviors are counter to the golden rule
4. Companies that stand the rest of time prioritize the safety of customers
5. Listening is first priority for users. People want to be heard
6. I grew up with a mom with NPD. They share traits. Concerning.
 @a1aa26bb Taylor, it's all in this image.

The post that goes with it. https://hubris.jimcarroll.com

These traits are common to most tech CEOs; we can go back in time and identify all the common reasons for failure to these traits. He did all these things at Twitter.

(I've been online since 1982, wrote 34 books about the Internet in the 90's, have consulted widely to all kinds of tech companies etc etc; been around the block a few times)
