Wild. The SEC Twitter account did not have MFA enabled. These are the people in charge of protecting other people, yet they cannot even protect themselves. https://i.nostr.build/8zqX.jpg#m=image%2Fjpeg&dim=1080x1551&blurhash=%5E38g%24_o%23Di-%3B0K-%3A%5E*ITo%23xuD%25xuD%2BD*xuxaIUxu_2D%24xuxuD%25%25MNLD%25%25Lo%23IU%252_2D%24%25Mt7D%25%25MxuIAxvt7IUxu-pM%7Bt7ofIVt7xtV%3Ft7WYM%7Bs%3A&x=46d5e860a33f4168a59bb0a7309e9e6a4f2a60d639c7a1867248bf9b83849368
They ought to just suspend their twitter privileges. Disgraceful.
my online presence is more secure than the SEC https://media3.giphy.com/media/jKMt4JQDQSPKlMRW0H/giphy.gif
Sorry I’m not buying that this account was even compromised. Here’s the deal if this was actually a compromise situation why wouldn’t a person post that they’ve rejected all ETFs so that they could actually buy #bitcoin cheaper that would’ve caused a massive drop in the price of bitcoin also, why would they have waited until after hours right at 4 o’clock after markets close? Why not make a move 30 minutes before markets closed. Occam’s razor suggests that someone at the SEC scheduled a tweet for the wrong day. Prove me wrong
They are openly mocking everyone and people are buying it. C'mon, man. This is what corruption looks like. nostr:nevent1qqs85gv660wk9wn0lrrx2vm8m8tq39pe86zcs23xsmrummlufkfy07qpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsygplwuxkt5a8vj5utj6s8tsj8e3wcavc45p4mqmw92qs7wrh5azmyspsgqqqqqqszrte6g
I'm not sure important notices like this should be expected to be released on one social media. The announcement will probably come today at close of market, and I wonder if it won't be announced via many forms or media at once. It also seems rather craptastic that the Elon Funky Odor doesn't allow best security practices for all accounts.
